STATE Government Relations

The California Space Authority will sponsor and support state legislative and regulatory action that removes barriers to space enterprise and finds ways to improve California's reputation as a place where space enterprise can operate. California's economic health and the flow of revenue to public agencies depend on the state's ability to attract investment. We will work to open new markets and support legislation and policies that provide incentives to economic growth and vitality.

Events

2008 GetREAL Career Technical Education Summit--Get REAL is promoting a discussion surrounding CTE and will be hosting a 2008 Career and Technical Education Summit on January 15 at the Sacramento Convention Center from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. It will include a keynote luncheon, testimonials from educators and their students, a policy development session with leading legislators and an exhibition of student CTE coursework. An informal reception for all legislators and staff will immediately follow the summit.
