Nominations Open for 5th Annual Prestigious California Space Enterprise SpotBeam Awards

SANTA MARIA, CA - "CSA is now accepting nominations from its membership and public-sector collaborative participants for this year's California Space Enterprise SpotBeam Award recipients," stated the Honorable Andrea Seastrand, Executive Director of the California Space Authority (CSA). The SpotBeam Awards dinner is currently scheduled for Wednesday evening, November 19, 2008 at the Proud Bird near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Nominations should include contact information for the person or organization nominated, contact information for the person submitting the nomination, and a concise explanation of why the person or organization is deserving of a SpotBeam Award. Achievements should be outstanding contributions to California Space Enterprise voice, visibility, and/or competitive edge.

Nominations must be received at CSA by August 15, 2008, 5:00pm PDT.
